The new production company Silence in the Studio is proud to present for the first time in Switzerland and in it's english version JASON ROBERT BROWN's musical THE LAST 5 YEARS.

The company based in Lausanne has gathered a wonderful team of professional artists.

Performers

Aude GILLIERON (LES MISERABLES - Lausanne, Sister Act - Paris)

and Fred BRODARD (LES MISERABLES - Lausanne, Next Thing You Know - Paris)

are directed by Frédéric OZIER with a piano accompaniment by Renaud DELAY

The declared goal of this production is to introduce Off-Broadway productions to the swiss audience. This very true and intimate musical theatre style is still unknown in the french part of Switzerland but the interest is growing fast thanks to Lausanne's Conservatory in Musical Theatre and new Open-Mic nights held every month for a year now.

The story

Jamie is a young and lucky writer living in New York City. He falls in love with Cathy and at the same time finds an editor for his first book. Every aspect of his life seems perfect.

Beeing an actress and a singer in the big apple can be exhausting. On top of her recent divorce... audition after audition, Cathy didn't get her big break.

The brilliant idea of THE LAST FIVE YEARS is it's reversed chronology. He tells the story from the beginning, she starts with the break up.

What if everything depended on a good timing ?
