On Sunday April 26, freeFall invites young people ages 8-15 for an afternoon of imagination with Harvey!

The afternoon will begin with 2 hours of pre-show activities (with snacks!), followed by the 2pm matinee of Harvey. A workshop led by freeFall's teaching artists Kelly Pekar and Timothy Saunders will round out the day as students explore character, movement, and creative play. The whole event will run from 12pm to 6pm.

Kelly Pekar is a New York City based actor, writer, and teaching artist. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Kelly has enjoyed performing in the Tampa Bay area in Into the Woods, Bernarda Alba, and three years of A Christmas Carol at freeFall Theatre. Teaching at venues such as Yellow Springs High School, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Applause NYC, MaineStage Shakespeare and Ohio Lyric Theatre, her favorite directing credits include Honk Jr., Bye Bye Birdie, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. www.kellypekar.com

Timothy Saunders has been a theatremaker and educator for nearly 10 years, having previously taught classes at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Idaho Theater for Youth, Albertson College, and Florida State University (where he earned his M.A. in Theatre Studies in 2009). Tim has also been a successful stage manager, dramaturg, and props designer, having worked on several national and international tours. Tim joined that the freeFall design and technical team in 2014 with the production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He has continued designing props ever since, all the while secretly plotting the creation of an education program at freeFall.
