freeFall Theatre Company in St. Petersburg will present Harvey directed by James Rayfield. Harvey will run April 11 - May 3, 2015. Performances are Thursday through Sunday. Talkbacks will be offered each Friday during the run (except first preview). Harvey is presented by Michael Miller and Robert Jenkins.

This Pulitzer Prize-winner for drama in 1945 is a treasure of the American theatre. Filled with sincerity, love, and hilarity, Harvey will sweep you away with its lovable protagonist, Elwood P. Dowd.

Larry Alexander (Broadway's Les Miserables and freeFall's Cabaret and The Normal Heart) stars as the earnest and unfailingly affable Elwood, who spends his days in the company of his best friend Harvey, a six-foot three-and-one-half-inch tall white rabbit that only he seems to see. When her brother's shenanigans interfere with his sister Veta's designs on being a socialite, she has him committed to a sanitarium. But Elwood and his friend Harvey may yet have the last laugh in this most-loved of classic American comedies. Following the recent highly successful Broadway revival, Harvey still shimmers with lessons about friendship, familial love, and empathy.

The cast also features Richard Coppinger (E.J. Lofgren), Kelly Pekar (Ruth Kelly, R.N.), Mimi Rice (Betty Chumley), Bonnie Agan (Veta Louise Simmons), Brian Shea (Duane Wilson), Cassandra Bissell (Myrtle Mae Simmons), Donna Donnelly (Mrs. Ethel Chauvenet), John Lombardi (William R. Chumley M.D.), Glenn Gover (Judge Omar Gaffney) and Chris Jackson (Lyman Sanderson M.D.).

In addition to director, James Rayfield, the creative team includes Charles Murdock Lucas (scenic design), Eric Davis (costume design), Mike Wood (lighting design, Timothy Saunders (props master) and Susan Haldeman (wig design).

This delightful comedy is perfect for the whole family. Ticket prices range from $23 to $41. There are discounts for seniors, teachers, students and members of the military.
