SUNDAY COMEDY SERIES:
Hawk and Wayne's News of the Weird: LIVE
An improv comedy show based on Chuck Shepherd's nationally-syndicated column.
Sunday, March 3 @ 8pm

Ever wonder what happened to that guy who ate the other guy's face in Miami? What about the lady that drove all night in a diaper? Or even the crocodile that was found attacking a pair of crocs...shoes? Using some of the stories from Chuck Sheperd's nationally syndicated News of the Weird column, critically acclaimed comedy duo Hawk & Wayne bring you their most original, hilarious and truly weirdest improv comedy show ever. Come by and prepare to laugh at stuff that writes itself and is destined for a good comedy scene. First Sunday of every month running through August 2013.

Tickets: "Pay-What-You-Can" $15 advance ticket purchase (Suggested donation $10-$20 at the door.) Performed in our lobby cabaret, where of course, there will be full cash bar service for all our patrons.

Starring Paul Wilborn and Blue Roses
Featuring Ms. Eugenie Bondurant and Frank Bowman
Friday, March 8 at 8 pm
Saturday, March 9 at 8 pm
Sunday, March 10 at 6 pm

Paul Wilborn continues his exploration of the best American singers and songwriters, accompanied by his infectious piano stylings, his dry wit and his special guests, Ms. Eugenie Bondurant and Frank Bowman. This time, Paul and the band explore the sexy, steamy side of the Great American Songbook. You'll hear hot tunes that enlivened the Broadway stage, nightclubs, the speakeasies, the backstreet bars, show tents and bawdy houses of the 1920s, '30s, '40s and '50s. Composers include Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Gus Kahn, Walter Donaldson, and Rodgers and Hart, and some legendary cocktail party parodies laced with lyrical lust. This show is rated R for Racy!

Tickets: "Pay-What-You-Can" $15 advance ticket purchase (Suggested donation $10-$20 at the door.) Performed in our lobby cabaret, where of course, there will be full cash bar service for all our patrons.

After a million years, Tampa's most outrageous improvised comedy troupe IS BACK! The WIT Improv cast will bring their outlandish brand of short form improvised comedy back to American Stage. Obie Award-winner Eve Ensler's whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone: The Vagina Monologues introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, and a feminist happy to have found a man who "liked to look at it."

CABARET DRAMA SERIES:
LARK EDEN
by Natalie Symons
3 friends, 75 years, and countless letters
Sunday, March 31 @ 7pm

Tracing the life-long friendships of three Southern women beginning in the Depression era and continuing through the early years of the new century, Lark Eden offers a poetic exploration of the ties that bind us together as tightly as family, and as surely as love. From frog catching girls with skinned knees to world wizened grandmothers, Lark Eden follows these three women through personal trials and victories no less daunting than the historical tribulations that provide the backdrop to these everyday American lives. Natalie Symons lives in Tampa with her husband and canine son. She is the author of a forthcoming novel and holds a degree in drama therapy from State University of New York, Empire State College. American Stage audiences last saw Natalie in The Foreigner.

Tickets: "Pay-What-You-Can" (Suggested donation $10-$20) or $15 advance tickets. Performed on our Mainstage, where of course, there will be full cash bar service for all our patrons.
