The world's most remarkable dancers will be heating up the stage in Dancing Pros: Live, and the audience gets to vote for the best of the best! Now touring the US, Dancing Pros: Live will play at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on February 16 at 8pm. Starring Dancing With the Stars pro, Karina Smirnoff (Head Judge), and featuring Edyta Sliwinska and Chelsie Hightower, both from Dancing With the Stars, this unforgettable live dancing competition is hosted by Alan Thicke, star of the hit TV show Growing Pains and includes local guest judge Carrie Seidman from the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

With a blend of artistry and athleticism, passion and lyricism, and sass and sophistication, ten of the world's most remarkable professional dancers compete with one another for top prize in this high-octane dance competition! The show is packed with a variety of dance styles, from the Cha-Cha and Tango to Swing and Samba. In the sumptuously produced Dancing Pros: Live, the voting is left strictly to the audience, and the winner is announced at the end of the show.

"We had the idea to marry two things: the art of dance, which we love, and audience interaction, which we experienced while on Dancing With the Stars," says Head Judge and Co-Creator, Edyta Sliwinska. "What better way to engage the audience than to give everyone in the theater electronic devices and have them vote for their favorite couple."

The spectacular show sparkles with amazing caliber singing by Angel Taylor/Holly Tucker (The Voice), a glamorous set, stunning costumes, and unbelievable dance moves. From high voltage kicks to seductive strides, these famed competitors demand everyone's attention as they rival one another on the dance floor for a chance to win your vote!

Tickets are $35-$75 and are available at VanWezel.org, the Box Office, or by calling 941-953-3368.
