The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is proud to announce the full lineup for its 51st Mainstage season.

Featuring the 2015 and 2016 Tony Award winners for Best Play, a Shakespearean masterpiece and a feel-good musical, this season reaffirms The Rep's status as the premier place to see live, daring theatre in St. Louis.

The newly announced St. Louis premiere of the musical The Marvelous Wonderettes completes the 2017-2018 Mainstage lineup, which you can find in full below:

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

(September 6 - October 1, 2017)

by Simon Stephens
Based on the novel by Mark Haddon
Directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge
The 2015 Tony Award winner for Best Play, The Curious Incident is an immersive adventure that puts audiences in the shoes of 15-year-old sleuth Christopher. He's a brilliant young man, but struggles to process everyday information. Suspected of killing his neighbor's dog, Christopher journeys into London to track down the true culprit. But can he withstand the sensory overload of the big city? Hamlet

(October 11 - November 5, 2017)

by William Shakespeare
Directed by Paul Mason Barnes
For the first time in its 50-year history, The Rep will produce Hamlet. Spurred on to vengeance by the ghost of his father, Prince Hamlet hovers in limbo between bloody retribution and madness. Potentially fatal indecision delays his every step. With its profound soliloquies, complexly shaded characters and brutal plotting, it's Shakespeare's most enduring tragedy. Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley

(November 29 - December 24, 2017)

by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon
Directed by Jenn Thompson
In this winning and witty sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, the bookish middle child of the Bennet family finally has her day. Constantly overshadowed by her four sisters, Mary Bennet finds hope for a new life beyond her family from an unexpected holiday romance. Austen fans and first-timers alike will find much to love in this alluring comedic tale. The Marvelous Wonderettes

(January 3-28, 2018)

Written and created by Roger Bean
Directed by Melissa Rain Anderson

The pop doesn't stop in this smash hit musical! A high school prom in 1958 and a 10-year reunion in 1968 provide the backdrop for some of the biggest hits of both decades, performed by an irrepressible quartet of young women. Featuring a stacked playlist that includes "Mr. Sandman," "It's in His Kiss," "Respect," "Son of a Preacher Man" and more, it's a joyous snapshot of a musical era.
The Humans

(February 7 - March 4, 2018)

by Stephen Karam
Directed by Steven Woolf

Winner of four 2016 Tony Awards, including Best Play. Three generations of the Blake family have gathered in a dingy New York City apartment for Thanksgiving. Everyone's trying to make the best of it, but life's little indignities are piling up. With a mixture of pathos and dark humor, Karam's vivid family portrait is nothing but honest.
Born Yesterday

(March 14 - April 8, 2018)

by Garson Kanin
Directed by Pamela Hunt

Junkyard tycoon Harry Brock swaggers into Washington, D.C. as the ultimate political outsider, determined to buy a senator or two. The monkey wrench in his schemes is Billie Dawn, his seemingly dim-witted ex-showgirl girlfriend. But when Brock hires a reporter to tutor Billie, she rapidly comes into her own as a force to be reckoned with. This sharp and snappy comedy hilariously skewers Beltway corruption.
