Northland Symphony Orchestra, Kansas City's preeminent orchestra, will perform it's fifth and final concert of its 44th season on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 7:30pm at Park Hill South High School, 4500 NW River Park Drive. Admission to the performance is free.

This exciting concert will emphasize the ‘memorable marches' theme: Alford's Colonel Bogey, Gould's American Salute, Delibes' March and Procession from Bacchus, Williams' Imperial March from Star Wars, Ivanov's Procession of the Sardar-Ippolitov, Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance No. 1, Strauss' Radetsky March, and Gounod's Funeral March for a Marionette.

The Northland Symphony Orchestra is a nonprofit organization that enriches the Kansas City Northland communities with its performances of great orchestral literature. We provide an educational atmosphere, as the ensemble consists of professional, community and student musicians. Our concerts are always presented free of admission

The Northland Symphony looks forward to seeing you for this unforgettable final performance, and thanks you for your support during the 2010-2011 season. Please join us for our 2011-2012 season and look for information about the Northland Symphony Orchestra at www.northlandsymphony.org.
