New Line Theatre Off Line's third annual fundraiser returns once again to the scene of the crime, with the outrageous THAT 70s GAMES SHOW! LIVE! STRIKES BACK!, on Saturday, August 2, a wacky, live 1970s-style game show with contestants from the audience and the New Liners as "celebrities."

Judith Newmark, theatre critic for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch; Max Foizey, host of Max on Movies on NewsTalk 97.1; and Scott Miller, New Line artistic director will also join the "celebrity" panel, with New Line associate artistic director Mike Dowdy as game show host. The other panelists will include veteran New Line actors Zachary Allen Farmer, Nicholas and Amy Kelly, Taylor Pietz, Kimi Short, and Brian Claussen. The evening will also include food, beverages, raffles, and other New Line fun. THAT 70s GAME SHOW! LIVE! STRIKES BACK! is one night only, Saturday, August 2, 2014. The fun and food start at 7:30 pm and the game show starts at 8:00 pm, at the Regional Arts Commission, 6128 Delmar Blvd., in the University City Loop, just east of Skinker. Admission is $10 and reservations can be made by phone at 636-699-6689 or by email at offlinetix@gmail.com. Reservations are not required. The performance will include adult language and adult content. More information about the event and about Off Line is on the New Line website at http://www.newlinetheatre.com/offline-gameshow2014.html
New Line created a side identity in 2012 called New Line Theatre Off Line, a framework for the New Line actors to explore other music and theatre projects, including New Line's own unique brand of adult cabaret, and other kinds of performance opportunities, as well as master classes, workshops, and more. New Line actor Mike Dowdy (Forbidden Planet, Spelling Bee, The Wild Party, Evita, Two Gentlemen of Verona, bare, Cry-Baby, High Fidelity, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) heads up the Off Line brand under his title of New Line's Associate Artistic Director.

In 2012, Off Line presented the first THAT 70s GAME SHOW! LIVE!, followed by 2013's REVENGE OF THAT 70s GAME SHOW! LIVE!
