Due to extraordinary demand, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) has added an additional performance of A Christmas Story on Sunday, December 20 at 7 pm. The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is presenting the classic tale from December 2 through December 27.

The only thing little Ralph Parker hopes to find under the tree is a Daisy Brand Red Ryder BB rifle. He doesn't simply want it, he's consumed with an aching desire for it. A deceptively dangerous playground dare, an unforgettable visit with a department store Santa and a bizarre, gaudy radio contest prize are among the vivid childhood memories told with warmth and a sleigh-load of laughs.

Based on the movie of the same name, A Christmas Story is written by Jean Shepherd, Leigh Brown, and Bob Clark.  This production is directed by John McCluggage with a cast featuring Jeff Talbott (Ralph), Jonathan A. Savage (Ralphie), Marnye Young (Mother), Jeff Gurner (The Old Man), Caden Self (Randy), Susie Wall (Miss Shields), Taylor Edlin (Flick), Jarrett Harkless (Schwartz), Julia Schweizer (Esther Jane), Sarah Koo (Helen), and Drew Redington (Scut Farkas).

Ticket prices start at $15 and can be purchased by calling 314-968-4925 or visiting www.repstl.org.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is dedicated to producing live theatre of superior quality. In celebrating the joy of live performance, this theatre is committed to building and sustaining a vital connection among all of its stakeholders.
