Dear Westport Plaza,

I am so excited to bring my story and love of Patsy to the Playhouse at Westport Plaza. What a wonderful space. So much time and love and hard work by so many people has gone into fixing up this space to recreate my glorious kitchen and make it a great Stages experience. I mean, you people are going to be able to smell my linoleum! So grand and intimate, AND you're gonna be able to bring your drinks right in and join me while I'm downin' my Schlitz. Partieeeeee!

Walkin' around Wesport, I almost fell out of my boots when I saw two life size cutouts of me and Patsy in a window. It's one thing to see a big paper doll of someone else looking at you, but when it's YOU ... I got to admit, it's a little on the scary side. I went tearin' on over to make sure my roots weren't showin', my nails were done and my lips were on. Texas women have priorities, don't you know.

There are shops, restaurants, hotels and so many fun places here in Westport! It's like it's own little village. They recognize us and open us with welcome arms. There is Patsy music playin' all day in the lobby. Such a warm, welcoming feeling here. We are ready for the long haul. Can't wait to open this puppy next week.

Love and twinkies,

Louise

PS. Did you know Patsy Cline's real name was Virginia "Ginny" Patterson Hensley and she was born in Winchester, VA. She got "Patsy" from her middle name and "Cline" was her first husband's last name.
