The misfortunes of the restless Peer Gynt take to the stage as never seen before: orchestra and video come together in an exclusive production with a Norwegian stamp. Before, however, the musical maturity that Pau Codina displays with the cello will make us admire his youth even more.
Edvard Grieg was the Norwegian composer par excellence, and some of his works reached international fame very quickly. This is the case of the music he composed for the play Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen, full of charm, contrasts and melodies that have become very popular. The music of Carl Nielsen, the most recognized Danish symphonist of all time, is also romantic, as is the First Cello Concerto by Saint-Saëns, blending virtuosity and beauty in equal measure.
