Rock Hill Community Theatre will hold auditions for its production of CRIMES OF THE HEART by playwright Beth Henley on November 15th and 17th. Call backs will be held November 18th. The production will take place February 12th through 14th and 19th through 21st, 2010.

The auditions will run on Sunday, November 15th, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and on Tuesday, November 17th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Call backs will run on Wednesday, November 18th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Actors should bring with a headshot and a current resume. There are four female roles and two male roles, all in their early 30s. Performances will take place at the Community Performance Center. The show will be directed by Della Freedman.

An astonishing first play, initially presented by The Actors Theatre of Louisville, then Off-Broadway, and then on Broadway, where it established the author as a major voice in our theatre. Warm-hearted, irreverent, zany and brilliantly imaginative, the play teems with humanity and humor as it examines the plight of three young Mississippi sisters betrayed by their passions.
