Dirty Dancing in Broadway DIRTY DANCING
Koger Center for the Arts
5/9-5/10/2017
Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage is an unprecedented live experience, exploding with heart-pounding music, passionate romance and sensational dancing. Seen by millions across the globe, this timeless love story features the hit songs "Hungry Eyes," "Hey Baby," "Do You Love Me?" and the heart-stopping "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life." London's Sunday Express says "This crowd-pleasing stage adaptation hits the jackpot!" It's the summer of 1963, and 17 year-old Frances "Baby" Houseman is about to learn some major lessons in life as well as a thing or two about dancing. On vacation in New York's Catskill Mountains with her older sister and parents, Baby shows little interest in the resort activities, and instead discovers her own entertainment when she stumbles upon the staff quarters when an all-night dance party is in full swing. Mesmerized by the raunchy dance moves and the pounding rhythms, Baby can't wait to be part of the scene, especially when she catches sight of Johnny Castle the resort dance instructor. Baby's life is about to change forever as she is thrown in at the deep end as Johnny's leading lady both on-stage and off with breathtaking consequences.

Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche in Broadway FIVE LESBIANS EATING A QUICHE
What If? Productions
5/12-5/20/2017
'No men. No meat. All manners.' This one-of-a-kind critical and audience favorite brings the ladysisters back for their fourth Charleston quiche-eating engagement. The ladies of the Susan B Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein are hosting their annual quiche breakfast and you're invited to attend as they sample each other's pies while preparing for a potential nuclear invasion. Thanks to the handy craftsmanship of Buildings & Grounds Chairman Veronica 'Vern' Schultz, all the ladies are safe in their fellowship hall/fall out shelter, just in case anything happens. But when mistakes are exposed and the communists strike, chickens get forgotten, quiches become scarce and the lady sisters (Vern, Lulie, Wren, Dale and Ginny) are forced to deal with their desperate love for the heavenly pie and perhaps each other.

Sister Act in Broadway SISTER ACT
Arts Center of Coastal Carolina
4/26-5/21/2017
Sister Act is the Tony-nominated musical comedy smash like “nun-other” that the New York Post calls "ridiculously fun!” Featuring original music by Tony and 8-time Oscar winner Alan Menken, Sister Act tells the hilarious story of a wannabe Las Vegas diva, Deloris, whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, Sister Act is reason to rejoice! Full priced tickets April 28-May 21, 2017 are $57 for adults and $39 for children. Tuesdays-Saturdays at 8pm; Sunday matinees at 2pm (4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21) and 7pm on 4/30.
