South Bend Civic Theatre opens their 2014 season with another side-splitting comedy, Leading Ladies from master farceur Ken Ludwig (Moon Over Buffalo). Two down on their luck actors decide to impersonate a dying widow's nephews to inherit her fortune. The only problem is the nephews are actually nieces! Dressing up as gals and meeting the locals leads to one hilarious predicament after another as the guys face romantic entanglements and madcap antics.

Director Leigh Taylor conducts the hijinks with cast members Martha Branson-Banks, Christy Burgess, Matt Deitchley, Zach Gassman, Casey St. Aubin, Bill Svelmoe, and Jared Windhauser.

Leading Ladies performs in the Wilson Theatre, located at 403 N. Main Street, South Bend, tonight, January 17 to February 2, 2014. Performance times are 7:30 PM Wednesdays through Saturdays and 2:00 PM on Sundays. Tickets are $18 Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and $15 Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tickets are available by calling the SBCT Box Office at 574-234-1112 (open 12-6 weekdays) or going online at sbct.org.

Sponsors are Alfred H. and Martha J. Choitz (2014 Season Sponsor) and Villing and Company (Wilson Theatre Series Sponsor).
