A journey of love, loss, faith and family, Fiddler on the Roof is a celebration of life and all its challenges. The rich orchestrations and beautiful score to the powerful production numbers and emotionally-charged story, this is the show everyone should experience. Touching audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty, this universal show is on stage for the fourth time at The Round Barn Theatre due to popular demand. Fiddler is a patron favorite and this production promises all the same heart, depth, and sentiment that has audiences returning again and again.

Set in the Little Village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Fiddler On The Roof's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.

Fiddler on the Roof is a musical theatre tradition! Winner of 10 Tony Awards when it debuted in 1965, the show is the brainchild of Broadway legends Jerome Robbins, Harold Prince, songwriters Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, and book writer Joseph Stein.

Veteran Actor Jeremy Littlejohn revives his role of Tevye, which he also played at The Round Barn Theatre in 2006. Other Round Barn alumni include Amber Burgess as Golde, Rory Dunn as The Constable, Travis Smith as Fyedka, Sarah Phillabaum as Fruma-Sarah, and Don Hart as the Rabbi. The show is also directed by Round Barn veteran Chales Burr (Artistic Director of Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater, MI) who directed 2014's extraordinarily poignant "The Diary of Anne Frank".

Fiddler on the Roof opens on Tuesday, September 6 and runs through Sunday, October 16 with 2 p.m. matinees and 8 p.m. evening performances. Theatre tickets can be combined with Amish Acres famous family style Threshers Dinner or a special Theme Dinner served on Friday, September 9th. Following Fiddler on the Roof and running in repertory with the 30th anniversary of Plain and Fancy. Fall Harvest Days will bring the Tony Award winning drama, The Miracle Worker to the Joseph Stein Stage, and for the Holidays, everyone's favorite "festive" indulgence, A Christmas Story, The Musical!

Amish Acres Historic Farm & Heritage Resort is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday and Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering tours of the historic house and farm, farm wagon rides, documentary films, demonstrations, and famous Family Style Threshers Dinner.
