Fugard Theatre Bioscope to Screen THE AUDIENCE in October; Will Partner with Royal Opera & More in 2013-14

The Fugard Theatre Bioscope has announced two exclusive, significant seasons of theatre, opera and ballet! The highly anticipated World Opera and Ballet Season sees the Fugard partnering yet again with The Royal Opera, The Royal Ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet Companies. Together with presentations of the finest opera and ballet from around the globe, the Fugard Theatre Bioscope will now also screen a range of critically acclaimed productions from the celebrated National Theatre of Great Britain.

The season commences this October with an encore screening of the acclaimed West End production of THE AUDIENCE, starring Academy Award winner Helen Mirren. Audiences can look forward to The National Theatre productions of OTHELLO, MACBETH and HAMLET, amongst many others.

All Bioscope screenings will take place on Sunday mornings at 11am, in full digital high-definition and surround-sound on a cinema screen, in the comfort of the Fugard Theatre. In celebration of the inaugural National Theatre Live Season, each ticket purchased will be accompanied by a complimentary glass of champagne.
