Alan Committie in LOVE FACTUALLY

Alan Committie is back in LOVE FACTUALLY, the show that Theatre on the Bay is billing as the perfect "date-comedy" for 2016. The star of DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN brings a brand new, hilarious exploration of the battle of the sexes - and the exes. After 947 performances of Rob Becker's hit play, Committie has decided that it is time to take a fresh look at relationships this year.

With a comic, honest and sometimes even touching look at couples, Committie will continue to explore the mad differences between men and women, the quirks and foibles of marriage and dating and will even try to finally provide the right answers to loaded questions like, "Do you think I look fat?", "Are you listening to me?" and "Would you prefer to go to the cricket or spend the day with me and my mom?"

LOVE FACTUALLY investigates everything from Tinder and text breakups, online attractions and detractions to single vs. mingle, the challenges of surviving as a post-modern, metro-quasi-dexi-semi-multi-mano-sexual to the apparent gift of having children and the supposed burden of family. Audience members who enjoyed DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN will love this fresh take on why it is OK for men and women to be so different.

LOVE FACTUALLY runs at Theatre on the Bay from 13 April - 14 May, on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 20:00, with matinees on 7 and 14 May at 17:00. Tickets cost R100 - R180 and can be booked through Computicket.
