Single tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, August 4 for all concerts in the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra's 2017-18 season. Pops performances the worldwide phenomenon Video Games Live; 'Tis the Season, a new Christmas spectacular; and Wicked Divas featuring Broadway stars who performed as Elphaba and Glinda in the Broadway production of Wicked. Classical performances highlight works by Tchaikovsky, Bernstein, and Strauss.

"The 2017-18 SDSO season is assembled of works representative of diverse time periods and cultures, music that engages composers, performers, and audiences all over the world," says Delta David Gier, Music Director of the SDSO. "Our Classical Series contains those expressions considered to be masterworks and includes gifted guest artists. The Pops Series offers experiences you won't find anywhere else."

How to get tickets:

On Friday, August 4, single tickets will be available for purchase in person at 9:30 am at the Washington Pavilion Box Office (301 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls) or online (www.sdsymphony.org) and by phone (605-367-6000) for all concerts in the SDSO 2017-18 season.

Patrons may purchase a subscription for access to all Pops and Classical concerts at sdsymphony.org/subscribe. Subscribers get the best seats at the best price, the option to exchange their tickets across performances, and priority reserved seating into the next season to secure your seats for upcoming blockbusters.

A Pops subscription (starting at $112 for four shows) includes Video Games Live; Wicked Divas; 'Tis the Season: Christmas with the SDSO; and Guardians of the Symphony: Music from John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, and More!

A Classical Series subscription (starting at $91 for seven shows) includes Strauss Masterpieces, Brahms Symphony No. 2, Copland & Mexico, Mahler & Bartók, Bernstein & Beethoven, Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4, and Candide.

Flex packages will also be available on Friday, August 4. Patrons my select four concerts in the SDSO's 2017-18 season as part of the "Choose Your Own 4" package starting at $90, selecting the performances and seating level they desire. Patrons may also purchase "The Quartet" for $120 which offers four flexible date ticket vouchers. More information can be found at sdsymphony.org/offers.

All performances offer discounted group tickets for 15 or more tickets in the same concert. Group tickets can be purchased at the box office or by visiting sdsymphony.org/offers.
