The Theatre Group at SBCC will start the season July 11-28, 2018 in the Garvin Theatre with the musical, GREASE.  Book, lyrics and music by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.

Yesterday evening at five, Playhouse on the Square hosted a lively reception. Amid refreshments and trivia questions with prizes, Jackie Nichols unveiled the 2014-2015 Season. It's going to be grand!

Afraid of the Dark is making its World Premiere in London this autumn, playing at The Charing Cross Theatre now through 26 October, with a press night on Wednesday 11 September. Afraid of the Dark is a new brand of theatrical terror that paralyzes the audience with fear. Everyone is afraid of something. What scares you when the lights go out? Today, we're featuring Bert Convy circa 1981. Convy first appeared on Broadway in Billy Barnes Revue in 1959, followed by Vintage '60, Nowhere to Go But Up, The Beast in Me, Love and Kisses, Fiddler on the Roof, The Impossible Years, Cabaret, The Front Page and Nine. His off-Broadway credits include The Fantasticks, Morning Sun and Shoot Anything With Hair That Moves. He was also the conceiver and director for off-Broadway's Do It Again! in 1971.

York Theatre Company is celebrating the legendary librettist and lyricist Tom Jones with Musicals in Mufti: The Tom Jones Festival this spring. First up was Roadside, with Book & Lyrics by Tom Jones and Music by Harvey Schmidt. Directed by David Glenn Armstrong, the cast featured original Roadside cast member Ryan Alexander, Erick Devine (Seussical), Janine DiVita (Odyssey, The Musical), Jamie LaVerdiere (The Producers), Daniel C. Levine (Les Miserables), Ed Watts (The Fantasticks) and Nick Wyman (The Phantom of the Opera).

The Boiler Room Theatre (BRT), Williamson County's residentprofessional theatre company, will open its 10 th season on Feb. 5, 2010 with Fiddler onthe Roof for a run through Feb. 27 at the theatre, located in the historic Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Rd., Building Six, in Franklin, Tenn.
