CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA was already hard a work this week recording their track for the album. Peter Karrie represented the United Kingdom at the 33rd Annual Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, the world's largest annual indoor show, in Halifax, NS, Canada this past week. The event celebrated Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, commemorated the bicentennial of the War of 1812 and paid tribute to the loss of the RMS Titanic and the role Halifax played in the disaster in 1912. Karrie was joined joined by fellow Canadian and soprano, Brenna Conrad. Known as the world's most popular Phantom, Karrie has performed the role over 2,700 times around the world in Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. See photos of Karrie performing below!
