San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) presents the world premiere of "Manifest Destinitis," an Early California adaptation of Moliere's "The Imaginary Invalid" from Culture Clash founding member and REP Playwright in Residence Herbert Siguenza. The brand new comedy, directed by REP Co-Founder and Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse opens San Diego REP's 41st season. The show's run begins on Thursday, September 15, 2016 and plays through Sunday, October 9, 2016 with an opening night on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the Lyceum Space Theatre at San Diego REP in Horton Plaza.

To commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of 9/11, a highly distinguished cast of film, TV & stage actors gather for a benefit stage reading of Sarah Tuft's 110 STORIES last night (September 8th) and tonight (September 9th) at The Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, NYU in Manhattan. The illustrious cast - which includes Lauren Ambrose, Andre Braugher, Billy Crudup, Edie Falco, Melissa Leo, Aasif Mandvi, Chris Noth, Vincent Piazza, Andre Royo, Susan Sarandon, Stelio Savante, Pablo Schreiber, Gabourey Sidibe, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Michael Stuhlbarg, Kathleen Turner, Ben Vereen, Merritt Wever, Samuel L. West Virginia Public Theatre continues its 25th Anniversary Summer Season by bringing back a cult-classic musical comedy thriller after fourteen years absence from the WVPT stage. Little Shop of Horrors runs from June 30th through July 5th in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre of the WVU Creative Arts Center. First appearing at WVPT in 1995, this audience favorite was written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken?the team behind such Disney favorites as Aladdin and The Little Mermaid?and tells the story of a nerdy florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood. The musical was based on the low-budget 1960 black comedy The Little Shop of Horrors, directed by Roger Corman.

Goodman Theatre Artistic Director Robert Falls and renowned actor Brian Dennehy bring their artistic partnership to new heights with Eugene O'Neill's haunting drama, Desire Under the Elms?marking their fifth collaboration on O'Neill's work over two decades. Falls' cast includes stage and screen stars Carla Gugino (Entourage, Spy Kids, Sin City) Pablo Schreiber (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Awake and Sing!), Boris McGiver (The Wire) and Daniel Stewart Sherman (Broadway's Cyrano de Bergerac). The centerpiece production of Goodman Theatre's two-month 'A Global Exploration: Eugene O'Neill in the 21st Century,' Desire Under the Elms appears January 17 ? February 22 in the Goodman's 856-seat Albert Ivar Theatre. Tickets are $25 - 82.
