Beautiful: The Carole King Musical Photos - US Tour

Three-time Grammy Award® nominated singersongwriter Vanessa Carlton is making her Broadway debut this summer as Carole King in the hit musical Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. Carlton began performances last night, Thursday, June 27 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) for a 10-week run in the Tony®, Olivier®, and Grammy Award-winning smash hit.

Just yesterday, the cast of the Tony Award-winning hit Beautiful celebrated the show's 1500th performance on Broadway. Beautiful opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) on Sunday, January 12, 2014, where it's now in its fourth smash year, making it the longest running show in the history of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Just yesterday, the cast of Broadway's Beautiful gathered for a pop-up performance of some of Carole King's most famous hits, at a piano designed by the cast to celebrate Carole King's story. Each of the records on the piano represent the 14 Carole King songs in the show with lyrics from the title song, "Beautiful," on the front of the piano. After the month of June, the piano will be donated to a school in need.

Last night (Sunday 3 July 2016) in Hyde Park at the Barclaycard British Summer Time Festival, the cast of the West End hit BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL joined Carole King on stage for the finale of her sell-out 'Tapestry' Concert.

The Carole King Musical celebrated 1,000 performances on Broadway yesterday, becoming the longest running show to play at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (formally known as the Henry Miller Theatre).
