Red Bull Theater presents William Shakespeare's Coriolanus, the first production of the 2016-'17 season. The streets are full of protest: It's an election year; economic inequality strains the social fabric; debates rage throughout a nation riddled with dissension and distrust; unscrupulous politicians manipulate public opinion; the hypocrisy and humiliation of political campaigns drive away the country's finest! 'Me amaras por siempre jamas' es un torturante estudio del amor, que resume el drama de la pareja. (more...)

What might she have to look forward to? But although the sea air on a clifftop in Spring gives the feeling of hope, she's far from carefree. (more...)

BWW Review: King Charles III Rules at PlayhouseBWW Review: King Charles III Rules at Playhouse
by Caroline Sposto - Oct 6, 2016

KING CHARLES III closed on Broadway earlier this year. And though it won an Olivier Award, I suspect this regional premiere will be a rare opportunity to see this show -- or at least a quality production of it. Done right, as it is by Playhouse on the Square, it's an absorbing and memorable evening of theatre. Anything less could spell disaster because bringing this plausible alternate world to life is quite a feat. (more...)
