Two Thousand Years Photos - Off-Broadway

5-STAR THEATRICALS (formerly Cabrillo Music Theatre) continues its 2017-2018 season with the Thousand Oaks premiere of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Peter Parnell (based on the Victor Hugo Novel and songs from the Disney film), musical direction by Dan Redfeld, choreography by Michelle Elkin and directed by Misti B. Wills. THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME opens on Friday, April 20, 2017 and runs through Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.  

Houses on the Moon Theater Company (Emily Joy Weiner, Co-Founder & Artistic Director; Kevin Connor, Managing Director)  will present two world premiere productions in repertory developed through company workshops: The Assignment, a new original play by Camilo Almonacid, directed by Emily Joy Weiner, is a co-production with Rhymes Over Beats (Patrick Blake, Artistic Director; Cate Cammarata, Associate Artistic Director), and will be performed in repertory with gUN COUNTRY, curated by Jeffrey Solomon and Emily Joy Weiner,written, developed and performed by Houses On The Moon company members and directed by Jenna Worsham.

It also explores a deep and longstanding rift that has kept the brothers personally estranged throughout much of their unparalleled professional partnership. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production is playing a limited Off-Broadway run January 27 - April 18th, 2009. The classic drama had an Official Opening Night on Thursday, February 19th and BroadwayWorld was there as the cast celebrated at the starry after party!
