National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that collaborate in innovative ways to develop, produce, and extend the life of new plays, announces the continuation of its 83rd Rolling World Premiere (RWP): Wolf at the Door by Marisela Treviño Orta. With a successful run at New Jersey Repertory Company (Long Branch) and its second production wrapping up at Kitchen Dog Theater this weekend, (Dallas, TX), the play arrives this week at Milagro (May 2-25) before wrapping up its Roll at Halcyon Theatre (2019 Dates TBA in Chicago).

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 83rd Rolling World Premiere (RWP): Wolf at the Door by Marisela Traviño Orta. The Roll kicks off at Member Theater New Jersey Repertory Company (October 18-November 18 in Long Branch), followed by Kitchen Dog Theater (April 11-May 5 in Dallas), Milagro (May 2-25 in Portland) and Halcyon Theatre (May 16-June 29 in Chicago).

Following the announcement of kicking off Opening Night with the world premiere of Steven Tyler's documentary OUT ON A LIMB, the Nashville Film Festival continues its lineup for the ten-day festival (May 10-19, 2018) with the announcement of 48 additional feature films in Narrative, Documentary, New Directors and Graveyard Shift competitions. Capturing the essence of today's most relevant social issues, historical stories and more, these 48 films hail from China, South Africa, Netherlands, Denmark, India, France and more, as well as 31 from the U.S. A jury of industry professionals will select the winning films that will take home up to $20,000 in cash and prizes.

Inaugural INGENIO Play Fest Milagro Begins 9/8

Milagro is excited to announce the inaugural INGENIO Play Fest. INGENIO is a new play and playwright development program for Latina/o playwrights. Four plays were selected after a national request for submissions and will be presented in a concert readings over three days, September 8-10, 2017, following a week of rehearsals. During the rehearsal process, playwrights will work with guest artist Daniel Jaquez, directors, and dramaturgs in the continued development of the scripts, preparing them for a full production. Each reading will be followed by a moderated feedback session, led by guest artist Daniel Jaquez and other guests. INGENIO Play Fest is supported by the National New Play Network's Collaboration Fund.
