Westport Country Playhouse will stage the world premiere previews of A. R. Gurney's 'Love and Money,' a new comedy exploring the trials of class, family, legacy, and race, directed by Mark Lamos, from July 21 through August 8. A co-production with New York's Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre, it will officially open there in late August.

On Saturday, August 10th, 2013 Project Angel Food hosted its annual Angel Awards where the non-profit recognized the philanthropic accomplishments of award-winning actress Jane Lynch, star of FOX's GLEE and host of NBC's new hit "Hollywood Game Night," and Food network staple, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis. With nearly 400 guests in attendance, it was a night to celebrate and many of Hollywood's brightest turned out to show their support for the evening's honorees and the organization which prepares and delivers over 12,000 nutritious meals every week to those with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life threatening illnesses in Los Angeles County. 'Other People's Money,' Jerry Sterner's seriously funny play about Wall Street buccaneers and their hapless victims, will be the first production of the new year for the Hampton Theatre Company in Quogue. A near cult hit (especially with the investment banking crowd) when it first appeared on the New York stage in 1989, 'Other People's Money' tells a cautionary as well as extremely entertaining tale that is as timely in the era of Bernie Madoff and the 1 percent as it was in the go-go '80s. 'Other People's Money' opens on Thursday, January 10, and runs for three weekends, though January 27, at the Quogue Community Hall.

Westport Country Playhouse (Joanne Woodward and Anne Keefe, artistic directors, Jodi Schoenbrun Carter, managing director) will stage John Steinbeck's classic drama, 'Of Mice and Men,' directed by Mark Lamos. Peformances began October 7th and will run through November 1. Steinbeck won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1962 and the Pulitzer Prize for his 1939 novel 'The Grapes of Wrath.' The production will honor the late Paul Newman, who was married to Westport's Artistic Director Joanne Woodward and who participated in many Westport Playhouse productions.
