Lipuma, continues its 2015/16 season with DEATH OF A STREETCAR NAMED VIRGINIA WOOLF: A PARODY created by Tim Ryder and Tim Sniffen, written by Tim Sniffen and directed by Stuart Carden and Michael Halberstam. The production has been extended by two weeks, and runs now through July 31, 2016 in the Gillian Theatre at Writers Theatre's new theater center at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe. The Lakewood Playhouse presents the fourth show of its 77th season, its debut presentation of the American classic Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller, running tomorrow, February 19th, through March 13th, 2016. This production will also mark the continuation of Lakewood's year-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Lakewood Playhouse Theatre. From TAMING OF THE SHREW in its first year to AVENUE Q at the end of this season, Lakewood will have presented more than 300 productions at this venue, built in 1965 by the Lakewood Arts Foundation. Schnetzer won a Soap Opera Digest award for Outstanding Comic Performance by an Actor (Daytime) for his work on Another World and has received numerous nominations for his acting. He has also appeared on Homeland, Forever, The Wire, The Following, The Blacklist, Damages, Law & Order, and other television shows. Theatre credits include The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?, Awake and Sing, Tribes, A Talent For Murder, Filumena, The Incomparable Max, and other plays.
