The Shining House Photos - Off-Off-Broadway

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere production of Richard Greenberg's The Assembled Parties is currently in previews. Directed by MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow, the cast features Tony nominee Jessica Hecht, Tony and Emmy Award winner Judith Light, Tony Award nominee Jeremy Shamos, Obie Award winner Mark Blum, Lauren Blumenfeld (We Are Proud to Present...), Alex Dreier (Billy Elliot), Jake Silbermann ('As The World Turns'), and Jonathan Walker (The Divine Sister). The limited engagement of The Assembled Parties will open Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Last week, The Southern California Motion Picture Council presented their Annual Golden Halo Award Presentation. Among those being honored were Ja'net DuBois, Bridget MacDonald and John Pierre, but the evenings highlight was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to actress, comedienne and humanitarian, Geri Jewell. Among those in attendance to honor Ms. Jewell, were Alison Arngrim, Ed Asner, Kelsey Collins, June Faray, Ford Austin, Rose Marie, Margaret O'Brien and a special letter sent by Norman Lear. Continuing its 12-year relationship with Athol Fugard, The Fountain Theatre celebrates the master playwright's 80th birthday with the U.S. premiere of his newest play. Directed by Stephen Sachs and starring Morlan Higgins, Julanne Chidi Hill and Jacqueline Schultz, The Blue Iris opens at the Fountain tonight, August 24.
