Citi Pond at Bryant Park, Broadway's SISTER ACT & God's Love We Deliver hosted Nuns On Ice, Feb.16th. The first 100 people to rent skates during the hour-long event received a flowing nun's habit to wear as they glided across the ice. All guests wearing the habit not only kept their ears warm, but were entered to win tickets to SISTER ACT on Broadway.

Carolee Carmello, currently starring in Broadway's SISTER ACT has been named an ambassador to GIVENIK. Carmello, with the cast of SISTER ACT, have already helped Givenik donate to the charity God's Love We Deliver.

Yesterday, November 25, New York celebrated Thanksgiving with the 85th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade was Broadcast on both NBC and CBS and some of Broadway's biggest shows took center stage to entertain the masses. SISTER ACT features an original score with music by multi-Academy, Grammy and Golden Globe Award-winning composer Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Enchanted), lyrics by Tony and Academy Award-nominee Glenn Slater (The Little Mermaid), and a book by multi-Emmy Award winners Cheri and Bill Steinkellner ('Cheers') with additional book material by Tony and Olivier Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane (Xanadu, The Little Dog Laughed). Directed on Broadway by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Guys and Dolls, A Funny Thing...Forum, Smokey Joe's Café), the production features choreography by Tony and Olivier Award nominee Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia, Bombay Dreams) and is based on the Touchstone Pictures motion picture Sister Act written by Joseph Howard.
