Broadway Sings, the concert series honoring pop stars with a Broadway twist, concluded its seventh installment on Sunday, January 25, at (le) Poisson Rouge. Some of Broadway's brightest talents sang completely new arrangements of the hits of pop superstar P!NK, accompanied by a 10-piece band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the singer's greatest songs. BULLETS OVER BROADWAY star Betsy Wolfe sang The National Anthem at last night's Yankee game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will begin preview performances tomorrow, March 11 and officially open Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). The new musical will be directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. Second Stage Theatre's current season continues with a new production of Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE, directed by Kate Whoriskey and starring Norbert Leo Butz and Elizabeth Reaser. Roundabout Theatre Company recently announced that Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott, will open at the American Airlines Theatre in place of the indefinitely postponed Lips Together, Teeth Apart. The critically acclaimed musical by Dick Scanlan & Sherie Rene Scott is directed by Michael Mayer. In anticipation of its opening on April 29, 2010, Scanlan and Scott introduce the production in the clip below!

Following the record-breaking and critically acclaimed engagement of 'American Idiot' at the Berkeley Rep, the production is now Broadway-bound. 'American Idiot' will begin previews in March 2010 and open on Broadway in April at the St. James Theatre. The Broadway cast will be announced shortly.

Directed and choreographed by Connor Gallagher (Fat Camp), 'The Battery's Down' stars Jake Wilson as a young performer who, along with his friends, navigates the world of showbiz in New York City and Los Angeles. EVERYDAY RAPTURE is the story of a young woman's psycho-sexual-spiritual journey on the rocky path that separates her mostly Mennonite past from her mostly Manhattan future. Her life takes her from the cornfields of Kansas to the clover fields of New York.
