Today we celebrate the life and career of actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman, who passed away on this day in 2014. Beloved by audiences, and colleagues, Hoffman's death shook the artistic community. For his numerous contributions to the theatre, theatre owners dimmed the lights on Broadway in his memory. 

The domestic trailer for director Anton Corbijn's adaptation of John le Carre's A MOST WANTED MAN has been released.

A Kickstarter campaign for the project was launched on Friday morning, March 29, and the goal of $36,000 was met on Monday evening, April 1, as of 11 p.m., approximately 82 hours after it went live. Julia Albain and Corey Lubowich (of Team StarKid fame) have announced a Kickstarter campaign for Judas Redux, a project that will include extensive behind-the-scenes content and a new production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by Julia Albain, and featuring Lauren Lopez, Joey Richter and Brian Rosenthal. If the goal of $36,000 is met, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot will be presented at Stage 773, 1225 West Belmont in Chicago, for 18 performances, August 23 - September 8, 2013. A trailer recently premiered for the Philip Seymour Hoffman-helmed 'Jack Goes Boating.' As previously reported by BroadwayWorld, Hoffman is making his directing debut with the Overture Films picture, an adaptation of Bob Glaudini's Off-Broadway play.
