His son Adam Cohen commented: 'My father passed away peacefully at his home in Los Angeles with the knowledge that he had completed what he felt was one of his greatest records. The beloved, 72 year old character actress lost a battle to both brain and lung cancer. Lewis is survived by her husband, Fred Bryan.
