Ahead of his Broadway return in Mr. Saturday Night, Billy Crystal accepted the Lfetime Achievement Award at last night's Critics Choice Awards. Mr. Crystal returns to the role of Buddy Young Jr., which he portrayed in the original 1992 Columbia Pictures film of the same name, now starring alongside Shoshana Beane, Randy Graff, and more.

Billy Crystal sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night to discuss returning to Broadway in a musical adaptino of his film, Mr. Saturday Night. He touched on Mel Brooks offering him a role in The Producers on Broadway, the best part of doing a Broadway show, and more. Watch the new interview now!

Crystal made his Broadway debut in 2004 with his autobiographical hit show, 700 Sundays. which earned him a 2005 Tony Award for Special Theatrical Event. After a smash record-breaking debut, Crystal brought the show back to Broadway's Imperial Theatre in 2013 for a sold-out limited nine-week run, which was filmed and presented by HBO.

Today we wish a happy birthday to one of the kings of comedy and a star of stage and screen, Billy Crystal, who turns 69 today.

Written and arranged by Plummer and directed by Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, "A Word or Two" is presented in association with the Stratford Festival of Canada and continues through February 9, 2014. ABC Entertainment has just released a video previewing the 84th Academy Awards. Comedian Billy Crystal, who will be hosting the awards ceremony, stars in the two-minute video in which he speaks about his love for the awards show and movies in general. 'I think the thing that's special about the Oscars is it's the granddaddy of all the shows,' Crystal says.

A short trailer for the 2012 Oscars has been released. The video, entitled 'Off the Grid' stars Oscar host Billy Crystal and features cameo appearances by Megan Fox, Robin Williams, William Fichtner, Josh Duhamel and Vinnie Jones.

Crystal will host for the ninth time this year. The 84th Academy Awards will be broadcast live by ABC on Feb. 26 from the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. Brett Ratner and Don Mischer will produce the show. See a trailer below!

La Jolla Playhouse presents the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Ruined, by Lynn Nottage (Intimate Apparel, Crumbs from the Table of Joy), directed by South Africa native Liesl Tommy, in the Mandell Weiss Theatre November 16 - December 19 (media night: Sunday, November 21 at 7:00 pm). Ruined is a co-production with Berkeley Repertory Theatre and the Huntington Theatre Company.
