BroadwayWorld has just learned that iconic Irish dancer Michael Flatley will be celebrated tonight, December 18, at 7:30 p.m. at LORD OF THE DANCE: DANGEROUS GAMES, playing at Broadway's Lyric Theatre. United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), in collaboration with Global Millennium Development Foundation (GMDF) and SWW Creative, will host a special performance of the show.

Michael Flatley, creator of LORD OF THE DANCE - DANGEROUS GAMES, stopped by NBC's TODAY to talk with Al Roker about the new show which is playing at the Lyric Theater in New York City, as well as the nationwide tour and his plans for his upcoming retirement.

Following his acclaimed Broadway debut, Michael Flatley has announced the highly anticipated U.S. tour of his Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games which, like the current Broadway engagement, Mr. Flatley himself will headline in what will mark his final onstage appearances as a performer following a remarkable 20 year run as the creator and star of the Lord of the Dance franchise.

Following an acclaimed sold-out run in London, Live Nation and Michael Flatleypresent the Broadway and New York premiere of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, created, directed by and starring international sensation Michael Flatley in what will serve as his swan song as a performer, celebrating his Broadway debut with the 20th Anniversary of Flatley's Lord of the Dance global enterprise. Earlier today, the cast Irish stepped to northwest corner of 42nd and and 7th Avenue West 42nd Street, which was renamed 'FLATLEY WAY' in an official Street Sign Unveiling Ceremony.
