Strawdog Theatre Company, Artistic Director Hank Boland and Hugen Hall Artistic Director Anderson Lawfer are proud to announce the second production in their 2015 - 2016 Hugen Hall season, the world premiere of Robin Hood and Maid Marian, adapted by Forks and Hope and based on Alfred Lord Tennyson's The Foresters, November 28 - December 29, directed by Matt Pierce at Hugen Hall in Strawdog Theatre Company, 3829 N. Broadway Street.
The New York Philharmonic, in collaboration with Juilliard, presents a farewell chamber music recital in honor of Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow, longtime Juilliard faculty member who is retiring from Juilliard and the New York Philharmonic at the end of the current season. The concert on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. in Alice Tully Hall features Mr. Dicterow with his fellow New York Philharmonic musicians and guests, most of whom also have a strong Juilliard connection, and includes specially selected works by John Corigliano, Korngold, and Dvorak that reflect Mr. Dicterow's career in both New York and Los Angeles.
Southway Playhouse's Main House presents the premiere of Sebastian Barry's THE ONLY TRUE HISTORY OF LIZZIE FLINN for a four week engagement beginning tonight, June 21. The show is directed by Critic's Circle Award Winner Blanche McIntyre. Performances will run tonight, June 21 - July 27, Monday through Friday at 7:45PM and Saturday matinees at 3:15PM.
