Three men tied by faith, bound by secrets.

See two-time Emmy® Award winner André Braugher ("Men of a Certain Age," "Homicide"), alongside André Holland (Joe Turner's Come and Gone) and Jay Wilkison (Rent, Rabbit Hole), in the New York debut of Matthew Lopez's fascinating new play. Tony Award® winner Doug Hughes (The Royal Family, Doubt) returns to MTC to direct this extraordinary tale of loyalty, deceit and deliverance.

Three men are at a crossroads—a Jewish Confederate soldier who has returned from battle, and two former slaves, who were raised as Jews in his household. As the three men reunite to celebrate Passover, they uncover a tangle of secrets that might cost each man his freedom.
