BWW Review: Mosaic Theater Company's PAPER DOLLS Creates a Beautiful Piece Despite Some Creases
by Sam Abney - Apr 4, 2018

If you've ever thought what it would be like to cross an episode of Ru Paul's Drag Race with a searing Middle East drama and set the action to pop hits of the early aughts, Paper Dolls the perfect show for you. Mosaic Theater Company's newest entry to their Voices from a Changing Middle East cycle is a delightful piece of sheer entertainment. The show unfortunately tries to cover too many topics, however, and is thus unable to reach the dramatic heights some of its subject matter calls for.

Dee Snider & Giuliana Rancic Team Up for New Holiday Single
by Tyler Peterson - Nov 26, 2013

Dee Snider, front man for the heavy metal sensation Twisted Sister and a cast member on “Celebrity Apprentice Allstar” has paired up with Giuliana Rancic ('E! News,' 'Fashion Police') in a duet that rocks for a good cause. This electrifying reinterpretation of a holiday classic from Snider's new musical production, Dee Snider's Rock and Roll Christmas Tale, marks Giuliana's singing debut and a significant portion of the proceeds from all digital download sales will support her charity, Fab-U-Wish. This phenomenal foundation grants wishes to women undergoing treatment for breast and ovarian cancer. Snider and Rancic's “Silent Night” will also be featured this coming spring on an episode of “Giuliana & Bill” on E!. Enjoy this special musical collaboration and, in return, make someone's holiday merrier and brighter!

BWW Review: Wave Productions' GOD STEELING Tackles Race and Culture in '80s NYC
by Trish Vignola - Mar 17, 2013

GOD STEELING was a super interesting play. Couching this relationship story within the social and political climate of the early 1980s is not something that I frankly see enough. How race, social standing and culture plays into the lives of these union 'brothers' is a bottomless pool of material. Overall, I would like to have seen a bit more subtlety in the performances, but I do have to say that James Fenton's set is worth the price of admission.
