And that's exactly what it will do today, July 19th when flutist ANTHONY TRIONFO and pianist ALBERT CANO SMIT take center stage at 7:30 pm to make their Ocean Grove debut. Although both musicians excel as solo artists and in tandem with orchestras and ensembles worldwide, the two are good friends and enjoy performing together. The Great Auditorium is located at Pilgrim and Ocean Pathways in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. All facilities are handicapped accessible. Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) continues its Spring 2018 Music Series on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 7:30pm with a screening of the 1920 silent horror film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, accompanied by the New York premiere of an inventive score for the film by Stephen Prutsman performed live by New York's Puck Quartet. The film tells the story of a hypnotist who uses a sleepwalker to commit crimes. Directed by Robert Wiene, written by Hans Janowitz and Carl Mayer, and dubbed “the first true horror film” by critic Roger Ebert, it is considered a classic.

This October, Music Director Antonio Pappano makes his Carnegie Hall debut conducting the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in two concerts at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. On Friday, October 20 at 8:00 p.m., the Orchestra performs Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major, Op. 26 with Martha Argerich who returns to Carnegie Hall for the first time in nine years as well as the Sinfonia from Verdi's Aida and Resphigi's Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome. A pre-concert talk begins at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with Alain Frogley, Professor of Music History at the University of Connecticut.

The Tank (Rosalind Grush and Meghan Finn, co-artistic directors) is thrilled to present the world premiere of Franz Kafka's A HUNGER ARTIST, adapted from Kafka's story by Sinking Ship Productions, created collaboratively by performer Jonathan Levin, writer Josh Luxenberg, and director Joshua William Gelb. Part of The Tank's Flint & Tinder series, A HUNGER ARTIST begins performances on Thursday, June 1 for a limited engagement through Friday, June 27.  Press Opening is Wednesday, June 7 at 8 PM.
