Good morning BroadwayWorld! Today's big news: fans gather to sing on the 'GREAT COMET' Broadway cast recording!

Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, presents the first production in the Theatre's new home, Arcadia by Tom Stoppard, directed by Michael Halberstam. The show runs March 16 - April 24, 2016 at the Alexandra C. and John D. Nichols Theatre in Writer Theatre's new theater center at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe. The Press Opening is Wednesday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m.

It's been rumored, talked about, discussed and we've been reporting on it for what feels like forever -- and now, it's official! Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that it will present Tony & Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth as 'Lily Garland' and Golden Globe & SAG Award winner & Tony nominee Peter Gallagher as 'Oscar Jaffe' in a new Broadway production of the classic musical ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, directed by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Warren Carlyle. ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY features music by Cy Coleman and book & lyrics by Betty Comden & Adolph Green.

According to published reports, stage and screen star Christopher Malcolm passed away on February 15 from cancer. He was 67 years old.

Marjorie Barnes, internationally known jazz and Broadway performer and former member of The 5th Dimension is back by popular demand to perform an exclusive benefit concert for Trustus Theatre accompanied by the renowned Dick Goodwin and his fabulous Big Band sound. This special concert event will benefit Trustus Theatre. Marjorie Barnes and Dick Goodwin and his Big Band perform November 19 and 20, 2013 on the Trustus Main Stage. Five-time Tony® Award-winning Costume Designer William Ivey Long has been elected Chair of the American Theatre Wing. Having joined the board of the American Theatre Wing last year, Long will succeed current Chair Ted Chapin, who concludes his four-year term this year (the maximum number of consecutive years permitted). Chapin will maintain an active role in The Wing as he takes on the responsibilities as Co-Vice Chair.

The full Broadway cast has been announced for The Stratford Shakespeare Festival's hit production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, directed by the Stratford Shakespeare Festival's Artistic Director Des McAnuff which will open March 22, 2012 (previews begin March 1) at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street).

According to TVGuide.com, stage veteran Marilu Henner is set to guest star on CBS' new drama Unforgettable. Henner will play a woman with early onset Alzheimer's Disease. Unforgettable premieres Tuesday, September 20 at 10/9c on CBS.
