Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center announces the return of “One Night Only' for the 17th year at the McCallum Theatre produced by Michael Childers with returning director Scott Coulter and musical director Todd Schroeder along with choreographer Jonathan Sharp. This year’s theme is “Las Vegas: The Golden Age, 1950-1970.” Patrons will take a step back in time for “Las Vegas: The Golden Age, 1950-1970” starring Debby Boone, Clint Holmes, Jennifer Leigh Warren (all 3 pictured) Klea Blackhurst, Billy Stritch, Carole J. From tonight, October 19, to November 19, Woodie King Jr.'s New Federal Theatre, in association with Castillo Theatre, will present the Off-Broadway debut of 'FREIGHT: the five incarnations of Abel Green' by Howard L. Craft, directed by Joseph Megel, starring J. Alphonse Nicholson, at Castillo Theater, 543 West 42nd Street.

An eclectic line-up of music and dance performances will be presented this fall throughout Los Angeles in conjunction with Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, the Getty-led initiative exploring Latin American and Latino art that launched in mid-September.

For its 50th season, The Negro Ensemble Company, Inc. (NEC) has been presenting a retrospective of some of the troupe's signature works. The culminating event of this landmark season will be NEC's most famous and successful production, 'A Soldier's Play' by Charles Fuller, which NEC first presented in 1981 at Theatre Four.
