With their friends in trouble, the fairytale characters of Toyland are preparing for battle.  M&M Stage Productions presents the charming holiday musical "Babes in Toyland" at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre in November.  Dates and show times for this family classic are Fridays, Nov. 18 and 25 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Nov. 19 and 26 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Nov. 20 and 27 at 2 p.m. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on Nov. 18. Citizens Theatre Presents THE GORBALS VAMPIRE

Over 50 community performers will take to the Citizens Theatre's stage on 28 and 29 October to perform The Gorbals Vampire, a new play by Johnny McKnight inspired by extraordinary real-life events which took place in the Gorbals over 60 years ago. The performances are the culmination of a 10-month long project which has involved local people, school children and the general public in a range of workshops, exhibitions and creative writing competitions inspired by the story. Black Theatre Live Announces Britain's First All-black HAMLET

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), closes its 75th anniversary season with Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland on April 27, 2017 at 7pm at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (57th Street and 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019).  The production will be conducted and directed by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling and will feature Kelli O'Hara, Bill Irwin, Lauren Worsham, Christopher Fitzgerald, Jonathan Freeman, Chris Sullivan, Jeffrey Schecter, and the 130 singers of MasterVoices, with Orchestra of St. Luke's.  Musical Staging by Andrew Palermo.
