Two Major Publishers Contract to Publish LOVE FACTUALLY Worldwide

LoveScience Media has announced that Duana C. Welch, Ph.D., author of Love Factually: 10 Proven Steps from I Wish to I Do, has accepted a contract with two publishing houses for world-wide publication of the book in Spanish and Japanese, brokered through her agent. Love Factually is the first book that uses science rather than opinion to take men and women through every stage of dating, from before they meet until they decide whether to commit. Planeta, one of the largest Spanish-language publishers, has contracted with LoveScience Media and Welch to publish the work globally in Spanish in e-book, paperback, and a smaller paperback known as pocket book. Shasta International Corp., located in Tokyo, has contracted to produce the book for Japanese language markets, in e-book and hardcover formats; they have also contracted to have Welch author a special foreword for their edition. Louis Karchn's JANE EYRE to be Staged at The Kaye Playhouse

Louis Karchin's Jane Eyre, a full-length opera in three acts with a libretto by Diane Osen based on Charlotte Bronte's novel, will receive its world premiere on Thursday, October 20, 7:30pm with a second performance on Saturday, October 22, 8pm at The Kaye Playhouse (Hunter College).  Jane Eyre is Karchin's second opera, composed in 2014, following his critically acclaimed one-act comic opera Romulus.   The work draws on a cast of 9 singers, an orchestra of 34 musicians, and chorus.  The production coincides with the 200th anniversary year of the birth of writer Charlotte Bronte. What's not to relate to in a story of two young rebels who've made one mistake too many and seek refuge in new age philosophy? In this story of the search for redemption, connection beyond ego and not taking life too seriously, subtlenuance's Atlantis manages to hit some genuine contemporary themes in amongst a humorous and choppy script written by Paul Gilchrist. On the run from a tricky scenario involving drugs and a failed acting career, Sarah and Tom seek refuge with Sarah's aunt Zelda who runs a metaphysical store in Byron Bay. Zelda is a bit kooky, and her mystical delusions will test the young lovers' relationship and ability to resolve their past. (more...)
