PASSION, winner of 4 Tony Awards including Best Music and Lyrics, Best Book, and Best Musical, features music and lyrics by the acclaimed Stephen Sondheim (Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, Company, Follies, Into The Woods, Gypsy) and book by James Lapine (Falsettos, Into The Woods, Sunday In The Park With George).





PASSION opened on Broadway in 1994, and received its London revival in 2010 at the Donmar Warehouse as part of Stephen Sondheim's 80th birthday celebrations.



Stephen Sondheim's PASSION revolves around a handsome Italian solider, Giorgio, separated from his beautiful mistress, who is shattered and ultimately changed by the unconditional and obsessive love of Fosca, his Colonel's chronically ill and plain cousin. Her unrelenting passions force him to re-evaluate his beliefs about love and attraction between two human beings.

The Park Avenue Chamber Symphony under the guidance of musical director and conductor, David Bernard, presented yet another in a series of superb concerts this past weekend at the All Saints Church in NYC. The program included Mozart's Flute Concerto No. 1 in G major (K. 313), The Elgar Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85, and Mendelssohn's Symphony no 3 in A minor, Op. 56 'Scottish.' Allouche Gallery to Open New Meatpacking District Space

On June 9, Allouche Gallery will open a new exhibition space across the street from the Whitney Museum of Art. Previously located in Soho, the gallery will inaugurate the opening of its new Meatpacking District home with a group exhibition featuring 27 artists. Allouche Gallery is part of the area's transformation into a new art center. Represented artists Faile say of the move, “The new space will prove pivotal for the neighborhood in showcasing the dynamic blend of artists that highlight the energy and Passion Allouche brings to the art world.” (more...)
