Rupert Grint, Brendan Coyle & More Set for West End's MOJO; Full Cast Announced

Ian Rickson will direct Brendan Coyle, Rupert Grint, Daniel Mays, Colin Morgan, Ben Whishaw and Tom Rhys Harries in a major West End revival of Jez Butterworth's award-winning Mojo, reuniting director and writer who previously collaborated on the play's world premiere at the Royal Court in 1995. Mojo will preview at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 26 October 2013 with press night on 13 November and is booking to 25 January 2014. Tickets for Mojo go on public sale today. Designs are by Ultz with lighting by Charles Balfour, music by Stephen Warbeck and sound by Simon Baker. Mojo is produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions who also produced Butterworth and Rickson's internationally-acclaimed Jerusalem. (more...)

Natya Dance Theatre, Chicago's critically-acclaimed and longest running dance company rooted in the Indian dance-theater technique of Bharata Natyam, returns to the Harris Theater with the World Premiere of The Seventh Love, an exploration of love in eastern teachings based on the life of the god Krishna. The Seventh Love is conceived by Natya Associate Artistic Director Krithika Rajagopalan in collaboration with David Kersnar, a founding member of Chicago's Tony Award-winning Lookingglass Theatre, and is written and directed by Kersnar and choreographed by Natya Founder and Artistic Director Hema Rajagopalan. The CQS Space, The Old Vic in the round, will be home to the whole season of productions, continuing after Other Desert Cities which opens this month. The plays will be performed in the round, a transformation of The Old Vic's auditorium first seen for the award-winning 2008 production of The Norman Conquests. Charles Grodin, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning actor, comedian, author, and former talk show host has been in the entertainment business for more than 50 years and has seen it all. From his parts in films such as Roman Polanski's Rosemary's Baby and The Heartbreak Kid, Catch-22, Midnight Run, Heaven Can Wait, Taking Care of Business, Seems Like Old Times, The Great Muppet Caper, The Woman in Red, The Lonely Guy, Ishtar The Couch Trip and more, Grodin has a rich treasure trove of material. In this special event at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m., he will take the audience on a comedic roller coaster ride as he shares stories about his career and life in Hollywood. Compassion!, 'Smallville') will star in Love, Noel: The Letters and Songs of Noel Coward, devised and written by Coward authority Barry Day, and directed by Jeanie Hackett, who over saw The Antaeus Theatre production of Noel Coward's Tonight at 8:30 and the three-year development of the Antaeus production of Coward's Peace in Our Time. The musical direction and piano accompaniment is by David O. Kristin Scott Thomas is done with films. After starring in 65 features over the course of 30 years, the actress told the Guardian that she reached her breaking point at some point last September.
