BWW Review: Satirical and Ultra Splashy EL GRANDE CIRCUS DE COCA COLA ReturnsBWW Review: Satirical and Ultra Splashy EL GRANDE CIRCUS DE COCA COLA Returns
by Don Grigware - Nov 9, 2015

Ron House's original El Grande de Coca Cola was a huge hit and ran for 3 years off-Broadway. It's about the five-member Hernandez family, an in.your.face incompetent troupe of Mexican cabaret performers who have spent many many years performing in run-down over.the.border clubs. Now House returns with his latest version of the show, an ultra-satirical El Grande Circus de Coca Cola which sold out houses at the Skylight Theatre in Hollywood last summer. It has just reopened at the Colony in Burbank with the same cast headed by Marcelo Tubert as padre Pepe Hernandez. The family may be worthless performers but their Hispanic pride and ambition are unstoppable and drive them across the border into Burbank with the hope of full-out Hollywoodland success. It's lunacy with about a laugh every second, and under Alan Shearman's well-honed direction, the riotous troupe are bound to bring Colony audiences much pre-holiday joy through December 13. Local Tampa Florida Author Releases PARIS, MON AMOURLocal Tampa Florida Author Releases PARIS, MON AMOUR
by BWW News Desk - Nov 12, 2015

For almost half a century Cynthia dreamed of France, of someday walking the Champs-Elysees, and touching the Eiffel Tower. Her book, 'Paris, Mon Amour,' is an account of one perfect week in Paris, where seeing the Mona Lisa in the famed Louvre was possible; and popping into a sidewalk café, a daily occurrence. This book was intended to be a light-hearted account of that week; but became so much more as she came face to face with a different atmosphere than the one experienced throughout her life. Cynthia K. Inniss is the author of 'God Still Loves Aging Beauties,' 'We're All Trumpets,' 'From Poverty to Power and Escaping Obscurity: Napoleon Encounters Jesus' and is a member of Revealing Truth Ministries, Tampa Florida. She is an eight year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a former civil servant, employed as a logistics manager by the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington D.C. for a period of ten years. Cynthia was born in Rome, Georgia; she is a Business Management graduate of Troy University, Troy Alabama, as well as an ordained Evangelist. After more than thirty years of diligent study of the Word of God, she found her voice and is now a prolific writer. When not writing, she is an avid student of the Bible, enjoys travel, cultural pursuits, as well as learning new languages. (more...)
