FRIGHT NIGHT is a Halloween experience that will bring you thrilling Halloween tunes, some Rocky Horror classics, complete with a costume contest, and some trick or treat trivia, everything you need for a Broadway Halloween. Ben Cameron from the Broadway smash Wicked, and host of the long running hit "Broadway Sessions," will emcee the experience. Cohn, who served as Joseph McCarthy's chief counsel during the Senator's Communist witch hunt that terrorized many in the artistic community and provided the inspiration for Arthur Miller's The Crucible. Cohn also served as the attorney for high-level members of the mafia, and, perhaps most relevant to today's current political environment, worked as Donald Trump's lawyer during the 1970s and 1980s.  (more...)

The National Theatre Announces Updated Casting for PETER PAN

Devised by the Companies, based on the works of JM Barrie Previews from 16 November, Press Night 23 November, final performance 4 February.  Sophie Thompson has had to withdraw from the cast of Peter Pan, the National Theatre's Christmas show, due to a broken wrist. Anna Francolini, last seen at the NT in, will take over the role of Captain Hook/ Mrs Darling. The NT is delighted that Anna was available to step into the role, and wishes Sophie a speedy recovery.  (more...)

Co-curated by The Library for the Performing Arts and the V&A, where the exhibition debuted earlier this year, in partnership with the Society of London Theatre (SOLT), Curtain Up: Celebrating the Last 40 Years of Theatre in New York and London highlights how the theatre districts of both cities have flourished and developed since 1976. Inis Nua Theatre Company will team up with Drexel University's Mandell Professionals in Residence Project (MPiRP) to present a revival of Dublin by Lamplight by Michael West. Inis Nua's breakout hit from 2011 will be remounted with some familiar names, a grand two-level stage, and the talents of co-op students working side-by-side with the professional actors. Using commedia dell'arte make-up stylings and Storytellers theatre, the cast of six will portray 40 different characters in the fast-paced tale about the launch of the Irish National Theatre.
