The Muny has announced its full cast, design and production teams for the cult classic, Little Shop of Horrors, July 25 - 31. 

The Muny has announced that three-time Tony nominated actor Robin De Jesús, Patti Murin, Michael McGrath, Ryan Vasquez and Nicholas Ward will star in the comedy to die for, Little Shop of Horrors, July 25-31, 2023.

While the series' recurring cast includes Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Donnie Wahlberg, and more, guest stars have included Audra McDonald, Kelli O'Hara, Joanna Gleason, Adrienne Warren, Jinkx Monsoon, Norm Lewis, Norbert Leo Butz, and more. Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. NMA artistic director emeritus John Farmanesh-Bocca (Tempest Redux, Ajax in Iraq) directs June 9 through Aug. 4 at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A.

Ophelia Theatre Group, a leading player in Astoria's theatre scene, is presenting its spring musical Lysistrata Jones. Spearheaded by a female-driven production team, Lysistrata tells the tale of a determined cheerleader who leads the students around her in a battle of the sexes. George Street Playhouse today announced the full cast for an new, updated version of the off-Broadway hit musical, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, with book and lyrics by Playhouse favorite Joe DiPietro (Memphis, Nice Work if You Can Get It) and music by Jimmy Roberts (The Thing About Men, The Velveteen Rabbit). Karen Burthwright (Broadway's Jesus Christ Superstar), Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Broadway's Lysistrata Jones, Legally Blonde and Hairspray), Mitchell Jarvis (Broadway's Rock of Ages, GSP world premiere of Gettin' the Band Back Together) and George Merrick (Broadway's Honeymoon in Vegas, South Pacific and High Fidelity; Off-Broadway's Clever Little Lies) star in the inaugural production at George Street Playhouse's new, interim venue at 103 College Farm Road on the Cook Campus of Rutgers University. Dallas Theater Center announced today complete details for Inherit the Wind beginning on May 16 and running through June 18 at the Kalita Humphreys Theater. The Pay-What-You-Can performance will be Tuesday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m.

The Muny announced today 21 principal cast members for its 99th season. Full company casting will be announced throughout April. The 2017 Muny season opens with Jesus Christ Superstar followed by Disney's The Little Mermaid and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. The season continues with the premiere of All Shook Up! and a newly re- envisioned The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Season 99 closes with A Chorus Line and the much- anticipated Muny debut of Newsies.

New York Theatre Ballet, the foremost chamber ballet company in the United States, will return to Tarboro, North Carolina on March 30, 2017 at 7:30pm to perform in the Edgecombe Community College Performing Arts Series, bringing a program of mixed repertoire. NYTB has performed in the series annually for the past four years.

Playwrights Horizons has announced complete casting for THE LIGHT YEARS, the world premiere of a new play written by Drama Desk Award winner Hannah Bos (The Open House, Jacuzzi, Blood Play, Buddy Cop 2) and Obie Award winner Paul Thureen (Jacuzzi, Blood Play, Buddy Cop 2), directed and developed by Obie Award winner Oliver Butler (Jacuzzi, The Open House, Blood Play), made by The Debate Society.
