BWW Recap: Trouble Ahead (or Not) on Final Season of PARENTHOODBWW Recap: Trouble Ahead (or Not) on Final Season of PARENTHOOD
by Matt Smith - Sep 26, 2014

Though many viewers were teased that the final season of PARENTHOOD was said to tie up Loose Ends (and while it may still indeed do that), you wouldn't know it from watching their first episode back from their summer hiatus. Straight from the get-go, we're in the hospital and the “cliffhanger” (ruined by a particularly spoiling promo aired this summer) confirmed what we all were thinking: Amber's pregnant with Ryan's baby. (Now we can focus on: will she keep it? With who else will she share the news? (more...)

by Jack L. B. Gohn - May 31, 2015

There is a kind of magic which will exorcise the problems of Blithe Spirit, and let us not notice them: This production cruises and coasts on the farcical elements and the bickering and the eccentricities of Mme. At the end of last week's episode, Chuck and his backstabbing self left us questioning just about everything we've learned about Jimmy and the man he's become thus far. 'People don't change. You're Slippin' Jimmy!' Chuck seems pretty darn convinced of this. His whole 'people don't change' mentality is essentially the reason he denied his loving and devoted brother a potentially life-changing job at HHM. By the end of the episode, we - and by 'we,' I mean both us viewers and Jimmy himself - are left wondering whether or not Chuck is right. (more...)
