The Museum of Modern Art and Cinecittà present Federico Fellini, a complete retrospective honoring the famed Italian director. The series will be presented entirely in person at MoMA's Debra and Leon Black Family Film Center in the Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters from December 1, 2021, through January 12, 2022.

Today we learn all about Alvin Ailey- a dancer, director, choreographer, and activist who is perhaps best known for founding the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (AAADT). His work fused theater, modern dance, ballet, and jazz with black vernacular, creating hope-fueled choreography that continues to spread global awareness of black life in America.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of Writer, Composer, Lyricist, Director, and Performer Martin Charnin, who passed away on July 6, 2019 at age 84. The story of Gelsomina, a poverty-stricken young woman sold by her mother to Zampano, a brutish itinerant street performer, certainly struck a chord with audiences at the time, and the role of Gelsomina made an international star of Fellini's wife Giulietta Masina.

The Barbican today announced a stellar program of events for spring and summer 2014, pushing the boundaries of all major art forms for its diverse audiences.
