CEC's Sherry Robinson Reaches Personal Milestone in Economic Zone Sales

In September, one of Cayman Enterprise City's Global Business Development Manager's Sheridan Robinson, signed her 40th client to the zone - a spectacular personal achievement considering there are a total of 85 companies currently established in Cayman's special economic zone. In simple math this means "Sherry" has brought on board nearly half of the companies In The Zone, and at a recent CEC staff meeting kudos, high-fives and congratulations were offered, but with a frenetic schedule ? there are another 191 international companies in the sales pipeline that need attention. Robinson hasn't slowed down enough to really think about her success and the reasons behind it, until a recent breakfast with local CEC channel partners that included law firms, banks, wealth management firms and corporate services firms who refer business to the zone, and vice versa. On June 15, Nik Wallenda will walk approximately 1,550 feet on a tightrope wire, suspended 173 feet above the raging waters of Niagara Falls, from the U.S. to Canada -- an unprecedented feat that has been banned for over 125 years. Wallenda, 33, announced the much-anticipated official date for his historic walk in a news conference at Niagara Falls last week. ABC has the exclusive worldwide broadcast rights, which were secured by Lincoln Square Productions, for Wallenda's long-planned stunt to air live. The 'Megastunts' ABC special will be part of a two-part, three-hour event that will include an hour devoted to the greatest stunts of all time and culminate in Wallenda's walk. The four 'germs' of full-length plays of scope and adventure commissioned by New Georges for this project will be presented together, fully produced, in a cohesive and satisfying ninety-minute intermission-less evening. There will be a connective thread to the pieces that will take place with visuals and storytelling. 'THE GERM PROJECT' will be performed at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector).
